WANDERING WEDNESDAY
I suppose I am lucky!
Living, as I do, so near to the river Severn, I am able to have a "countryside" walk on a daily basis. I do have built in encouragement in the form of a Saluki/collie cross dog named Ebony who is always ready for an outing. The walk starts with a little detour to get off the estate, all of 3 minutes. It is then down a flight of steps to the riverside path, very rough in parts and with the minimum of upkeep just as you would expect in countryside.
I am not always able to use this path due to weather conditions, but in any dry spell it is very theraputic.
It is not always full of interest, but there scenary is worth the walk.
And there is Ebony enjoying it too.
She is never far away and is trained to be off-lead all the time, great for photography. I will show more pictures of the walk etc in another post. Next post I will show some of my creative pictures and then there is the boatyard and river reflections to come.
I am still sorting out how this all ties in together so I am on a learning curve!
Do come again!

Yesterdays reflections
The river gives a constant supply of interesting shapes and colours but the faces haunt me. (post-processed in Lightroom4) ' '

Doodling
I find things out in an evening and then cannot wait to try them out in the morning. This is no exception, a different plugin, not that I use them very often. They usually dissappoint but this one gelled. Another face, they follow me everywhere! . ' '

Election time!
Yes, the local councillors have done the tour asking for votes. I said the riverside footpath was in need of repair etc and "Lo and behold" two days later the workmen are there cutting branches down as a start. We need more elections! The lower ones in this pic have now gone. ' '

New Lightroom Plugin
Really must try it out.
I seem to see faces everywhere nowadays, must be my age!
